The Son is an animated Canadian feature film directed and executive produced by Jesse Spade, executive produced by Anakin Nakamura and written by Nakamura and Jesse Loon. It is distributed by Morningwood Entertainment. The film is slated for a 2028 release. It is intended to be the first film in the Nexus-verse of films and will focus on the titular character after the events of the Futuristic Twilight.
