The Nakamura engine is a video game engine created and developed by Nakamura Interactive for Star Wars: New Republic at War and used on its expansion packs.
With the success of New Republic at War, it was stated that games Nakamura Interactive creates on their own would use this engine. Though, this changed when the Semblance engine was adopted across all of Morningwood Arts' subsidiaries. It was utilized during the development of The Avengers vs. The Rangers and Eclipse Universe: Return of the Republic, in addition to Star Wars: New Republic of War.
