Campaign

Halo 2: Covenant focuses on Sangheili commander Jek 'Nrahom who is part of Prophet of Regret's fleet. Upon the fleet entering Earth's orbit, and unaware of it being the human homeworld, Jek is commanded by Regret to send ground forces to board the UNSC Orbital Defense Platforms to break through the blockade protecting the planet.

Once through the blockade, Jek joins his fellow brothers on the planet's surface and is one of the Sangheili commanders to establish the staging area right below Regret's flagship. Later he is notified of the "demon's" presence, he goes to hunt him down by following his tracks. However as he follows in behind the demon, he only finds UNSC marines and handles them with great force.

After a while, Jek is recalled back to the Solemn Penance shortly before it enters slipspace to Delta Halo. Once arriving, he is ordered to remain on the ship until High Charity arrives. To keep himself busy, he checks in with the crew onboard to make sure everything was in working order, going from one side to the other in mere hours. Once High Charity arrives, the Prophet of Truth orders him to return to the Holy City and after an hour, he witnesses the Sangheili being replaced by Jiralhanae.

Angered at the sight, Jek joins the conflict by assembling his own group of Sangheili, Unggoy and Kig-Yar to fight against the Covenant Loyalists.
